Note:  An interesting definition of 'precision bred organism':

Part 1 (2) (d)   its genome does not contain any feature that results from the application of any artificial modification technique OTHER THAN MODERN BIOTECHNOLOGY" 

Obfuscating statement because 'modern biotechnology' IS ARTIFICIAL!

Part 1 (8) (b). regulations may modify this section so as to make corresponding changes (with or without variation) to the definition of “modern biotechnology”.

So.... anything goes, definitions can be changed on a whim!  They can change the definition of 'modern biotechnology' to include any new gene editing to plants or animals, which makes the entire definitions page meaningless.

Note:  Parts 5, 6 & 7 are about 'marketing' of precision bred organisms.  This entire Act is to allow for marketing of more genetically modified plants and animals.
